The Bichon Havanais is the only dog breed native to Cuba. Named after the capital city of Havana. He is smart and trainable extroverts with the comic instincts of a born clown, are natural trick dogs. Havanais are also excellent watchdogs and take the job seriously, but will usually keep the barking to a minimum.
Their playful, affectionate personalities accompany good-natured temperaments and intelligence, making them lovely family dogs.
